Vacation Bible School The church in Purcellville holds Vacation Bible School (VBS) each summer for a half day on a Saturday morning. VBS is aimed at children and consists of Bible classes with coordinated activities to reinforce the lessons. A typical VBS consists of singing, age-appropriate Bible classes, snacks, a puppet show or skit, crafts, and games. Each attending child receives a t-shirt and a certificate of participation. VBS is open to all children in the local community and participation is free.
