This past month, several members of our congregation were fortunate enough to travel to Memphis, Tennessee and attend the Spiritual Sword Lectureship at the Getwell Church of Christ. The Spiritual Sword is a sound brotherhood publication that has been in print for over 30 years. These lectureships are always a treat and this year's was no exception. The theme of the lectureship this year was "The Glory of Preaching (Passing the Torch)". This month, we have included some excerpts from this lectureship.

Preach the Word
The Lord is very clear in His instruction to us to preach the word (2 Timothy 4:1-5). In our efforts to be strong and faithful Christians, we need to heed His command and let everyone know the glory of our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
