Our Purpose Our purpose is not to contribute to the religious division that is so widespread in our society, nor to be a denomination or sect (John 17:20-21, I Corinthians 1:10). Our purpose and plea is to direct men and women back to the New Testament, back to God's original plan. If people in New Testament times, by obeying the Gospel, could become Christians without joining a denomination, so can we. If they became Christians without accepting a man made creed or sectarian name, then so can we. We desire to be just what people were in the days of the apostles; Christians only, no more, no less, no other. © 2005 Purcellville church of Christ
